Isaiah 53

It was a sinful world in need of a savior. The price for sin was great. None could pay this price to save humanity. For all have sinned and have come short of the glory of God. The payment for sin is death. For the soul that sinneth shall die.

Oh! A world of sin, death, pain, oppression, rejection, frustration and damnation. A sacrifice must be made to save humanity. But who is qualified to pay this sacrifice? For the blood of bulls and rams could not do it, even man could not pay the sacrifice for man because everyone was in the same bondage. There was only one solution for man but it was very costly.

(John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believe in Him should not perish but have everlasting life). God had to give up His son as the sacrificial lamb just to save you and i. the price indeed was costly because you are special to Him. He didn’t mind losing all He had, His only son just to get you back.

Jesus was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, He was brought as a lamb to the slaughter, for the father laid on him the iniquity of us all, he went in to pay the price for us, he took our place and became sin for us. It was indeed a painful sacrifice but was necessary because he was paying it for you.

Beloved, He paid so much on you because you are special to him. He could not have allowed you perish because he placed so much value on you. He had to use his own blood to pay for you. You don’t need to pay anymore because he paid a perfect sacrifice for you.

So much was paid on you, don’t remain in darkness because the sacrifice is meant to take you to the light, give you light and make you light.

Beloved, consider the price that was paid on you, it is too much to reject, the price was too costly and great to be neglected.

He paid so much, because he does not want you to be oppressed anymore by the devil. Will you still choose to remain oppressed, to stay with the devil whose aim is to steal, kill and to destroy? Here, is the one who had to give all, even his own life just for you to be saved.

So much was paid on you, don’t remain in that pit of sin and damnation because he had paid for your freedom. Let Jesus into your life, let in the one that went that far to pay such a costly price.
