To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. Ecc3:1.
The scripture says everything has its season and every purpose has its time as long as this earth realm is concerned. That is to say, there is no time that is void of purpose.
Maximizing opportunity starts in the mind. You cannot maximize opportunities until your mind is set aright. How you see it matters a lot. To maximize means to make full use of it; means to use something in a way that you will get the best result; it means to get out every resourceful aspect of a thing. To every time is attached an opportunity. Every opportunity that comes is for a purpose to be met or fulfilled.
Having this understanding will help you know/have the right approach to life.
(Rom 8:28) makes us to understand that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose. Take note of that word purpose… purpose was attached to our calling. The fact that you are a Christian is for a purpose. The fact that you are a man or a woman is for a purpose. The fact that you are you is for a purpose. And to every purpose, there is a timing… how you maximize your time, and every opportunities that come with each day to fulfill the purpose matters a lot.
Many people thinks it’s all about the destination and that it doesn’t matter what is done and what is not done. NO!!! That is a wrong mentality. In fact it’s more about the journey. How you get there. How you make use of each day. How you handle every opportunity. (Ecc9:10; Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest).
Even Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith showed us this perfect example. He lived his life maximizing every opportunity that comes his way. Right from when he was a child on earth, He learnt, he did all that he needed to do, understanding the fact that his purpose on earth had its timing. (John 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work).
